Nourishing Young Minds: The Sleep-Nutrition-Mental Health Connection
Join Ruchi Kumar, M.A., ET/P, CHC, MHC-LP, a mental health counselor, educational therapist, health and wellness coach and yoga teacher, to learn about sleep hygiene and good nutrition for optimal mental health of children. She will focus on the body’s natural circadian rhythms and the benefits and techniques for developing good sleep routines and habits. She will also discuss good nutrition that augments optimal mental and physical wellbeing, including appealing to the body’s three doshas. This lecture will be child focused and aimed at providing simple, realistic, and attainable goals to optimize mental health in the areas of sleep and nutrition.
